All work must be submitting between by December 30, 2022. We will announce the winners in mid-February of 2023.
Prose: 2,000–7,000 words
Poetry: 3-7 pages, no more than 10 pages
Please format all submissions as Times New Roman, 12 pt. font with 1-inch margins and page numbers. Prose should be double-spaced and poems should be single-spaced.
*Please do not put any identifying information on your submission document. All submissions will be read blindly.

In the subject line, please write your name and your genre, formatted as such: “CCWA_Gabriela Garcia Marquez_Fiction.”
In the body of your email, please include a brief cover letter, including your name, contact information, and a short biography, no more than 200 words.

In the ‘notes’ section of the payment, include your name and genre. All payment goes towards maintaining the website, providing grants for fellows, honoraria for guest lecturers and editors, and covering equipment fees for PATCHWORK fellows.
