EXPEDITED SUBMISSIONS

COUNTERCLOCK relies on the contributions of submitting artists in order to keep every issue free and maintain a fee-free submission option for all. We are so grateful for your support in this effort. ​Please know that your contribution goes a long way; we are an independently-run, not-for-profit literary arts organization that aims to one day offer monetary payments to our contributors. Your money may also be used to offer scholarships to our COUNTERCLOCK Arts Fellows, emerging artists in creative writing, visual art, and music. You may learn more about the fellowship here.

We currently offer a 72-hour response time for $7.00.

Please follow these steps if you would like your submission to be expedited:

1 Email your submission according to each genre's guidelines here. Please make sure to include ‘Expedited Submission’ in the subject line of your email. If you do not include this line, our editors will respond to your submission as if it were a normal packet.
2 Visit our Paypal here and type in the amount of money ($7.00) in USD in the space provided. Click 'Next.' 

3 In the following screen, please select the option ‘sending to a friend’ rather than ‘paying for goods or a service’ in the blue bar, as shown below. In the space where Paypal allows you to add a note, please write your name and the title/genre of the submission which you're paying for. If you do not see this screen, please try scrolling up.

4 Scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘send payments now.'
