Tip Jar

The workshop is completely free of charge! However, we welcome tip jar donations at www.paypal.me/counterclock. The money will be used towards paying honorariums to guest lecturers and donations towards nonprofit organizations working for civil rights causes.

Note to Students

This is not a class. You aren’t being graded. We don’t want this summer to be stressful for you. Poetry can be uncomfortable, difficult, even painful, but it can also be so, so joyful. We want you to try new things and make mistakes. Learn what works and what doesn’t, what you like and what you don’t, in the poetry you write and the poetry you read. We intend for this to be a resource where you can learn together; celebrate your best lines and help each other to revise the rest. We’re just here to help you get off the ground.
